The Phoenix Children's Foundation was established in 2006, by a group of local friends who all shared the desire to help those less fortunate than themselves. The objectives of the charity were agreed upon their first meeting, the basic principles and structures of the charity were put into place.
The charity relies on the generosity of the general public for its funding. One of the policies of the charity is to endeavor where possible to allocate funding to help the children in area it is raised.
We have a number of miniature Shetland ponies, primarily used as petting ponies for disabled, special needs, terminally ill children, adults with additional needs and the elderly.
The tiny ponies are adored by both children and adults, they bring joy to everyone who comes into contact with them; they help enormously in our local fund raising efforts.
Our volunteer’s team are our key to the charitable services we are able to provide, and we are always looking for people with the passion to help others.
A HUGE thank you to David Wilson Homes for thier Golf Charity Day in aid of The Phoenix Children's Foundation!
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing £3,900 raised - thank you
