Our Charity Mascots

We have four Miniature Shetland ponies, which are our charity mascots. We are able to take them to some of our fundraising venues. We also have a small number of dedicated volunteers, who have been trained as handlers for the ponies. We have adequate public liability insurance, which covers the ponies and our own Risk Assessment. The children love the ponies, as do their handlers. This year we have had invitations from some organizations to take our ponies to fund raising events around the country. As well as being asked to attend children’s parties, parades and open days. So they have become a very popular and worthy asset to our charity. When we fundraise on a council permit, we take the ponies wherever we are allowed to, weather permitting. All procedures are carried out as stated on the risk assessment, as to sanitation.

Riding for the disabled:

We have donated a total of £10,000 to local riding for the disabled schools over the last 12 months.

The Toy Library at West Gate School

West Gate School for Special Needs, we donated the money for
them to purchase toys for their Toy Library.
